About Dr. Photis Loizides
Extensive training and surgical expertise allows Dr. Loizides to consistently help patients achieve their desired, natural-looking results. Apart from cosmetic surgery, he is an active member of the plastic surgery division at Richmond Hospital where he performs breast reconstruction surgery for cancer patients, hand surgery, skin cancer surgery and a variety of other complex reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Loizides has devoted himself to academic excellence and has received several scholarships. His research has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and he has given presentations at multiple plastic surgery conferences. Since he began practicing Dr. Loizides has been involved in the teaching and training of medical students and residents. He is currently a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the University of British Columbia.

I always highly recommend Dr Loizides
I had a breast reduction July 21 2021, so I am a year post op. I just want to say that Dr Loizides did an incredible job. I absolutely love my results and I am so glad I went through with this procedure. Dr Loizides is profession and has amazing bedside manner. His receptionist Daisy is an absolute sweetheart. Anyone I speak to who is looking for a reduction I always highly recommend Dr Loizides.

I had a breast reduction surgery over two months ago and could not be happier with the result.
From the very first consultation with Dr. Loizides to the post surgery appointments the whole process has been amazing. He has been patient with answering my many questions about the procedure, and has been supportive every step of the way.
For the first time in years I have absolutely no pain or discomfort in my neck and shoulders and no longer feel self conscious. I am back to running and my normal pre surgery routine.

I had a reduction over a year ago and am beyond happy with the results! Dr. Loizides and his staff are the most caring people I have ever met in the medical field (and I’ve met a lot). Daisy is the sweetest and is always quick to answer any questions you have and always with kindess and casualty.
I recently had a little touch up and even though I was beyond nervous and had a whole lot of issues, I was made to feel calm and confident. Dr.Loizides was full of encouragement and compliments on my strength during the whole process.
I would highly recommend this team and this man to anyone I know, heck…even strangers.

I had two breast reductions with Dr. Loizides. The first was done well but wasn’t as small as I had hoped. At my 6 month consultation I told Dr. Loizides that I was still having the same problems as before the surgery due to the size I was and he immediately put me on the waitlist to have the second reduction. After the second reduction I am so happy. I appreciate that he took the time to listen, and was very open to getting me where I needed to be. Always felt that I was in good hands, and the office is great!

I was referred to Dr. Loizides by my trusted family doctor for elective surgery. Although my surgery was minor, it was my first time going under the knife (so to speak), and I was nervous about the process, recovery time, and scarring.
Dr. Loizides and his welcoming staff gave me all the confidence I needed to proceed with comfort. I was educated on the procedure, all questions answered, and Dr. Loizides’ warm bedside manner helped calmed my nerves.
I received two post-operative check-ups and was given the flexibility of a phone consult or in-person. The post-operative advice given was sound and I’m pleased to say my wound has recovered nicely, ahead of schedule, and I’m thrilled with the result.
