Dr. Ron Somogyi is a board-certified plastic surgeon who was born and raised in Toronto - and who has never stopped investing in his patients. He completed every stage of his training at the University of Toronto, from his undergraduate degree through his Master's in Physiology, medical school, and surgical residency. He then trained at the world-renowned Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, where he refined his advanced cosmetic surgical skills under mentors he remains in active contact with today. Back in Toronto, Dr. Somogyi serves as a full-time staff surgeon at North York General Hospital, where he performs complex breast reconstruction, teaches the next generation of surgeons, and contributes to active research.
