About Dr. Owen Reid
Dr. Reid provides comprehensive cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery to men and women throughout the Vancouver area. He discovered his passion for plastic surgery while studying medicine at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Reid then went on to receive world-class training in face, breast, and body surgery at the University of Calgary’s Reconstructive and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery residency program. Soon after, he completed his fellowship examination and was awarded a Specialist Certificate in Plastic Surgery, as well as membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
After completing his training, he returned to Vancouver and established a culture of continuous improvement in his practice. He did this to ensure that the results produced will make patients feel good about their new appearance and themselves. Dr. Reid recognizes that having a cosmetic procedure performed is a personal and life-changing event. He takes the time to educate patients on the various cosmetic enhancement options and believes that clear communication with a deliberate approach is required to fully understand each patient’s concerns and goals.

Dr Reid is a wonderful plastic surgeon and goes above and beyond for his patients, and even though I was “just” an MSP patient, I was treated with incredible personalized care, before and especially after the surgery. Comfortable every step of the way
I am in the process of having body contouring surgery after significant weight loss. Dr. Reid has completed one of the 3 surgeries I require. I cannot emphasize how pleased I am with the results so far. Dr. Reid’s level of skill and knowledge is only surpassed by his professionalism and his kindness. He made me feel so comfortable every step of the way… from our first virtual visit to my latest office checkup. The staff at his office are lovely and helpful, a real asset to the whole process.
