About Dr. Mathew Plant
Dr. Plant grew up in Toronto and decided to become a plastic surgeon because it combined his interest and aptitude for science with his artistic abilities and obsession with fine details. In particular, Dr. Plant loves the creative flexibility and artistic approach that plastic surgery allows him to bring to the table. Rather than following a step-by-step surgical guide, plastic surgery allows him to develop a highly customized plan that will get the best individual outcome for the patient.
Dr. Plant firmly believes developing a relationship with his patients is an important first step. “I enjoy talking with my patients and making them laugh to put them at ease during the consultation. I like getting to know each person and why this procedure is so important to them.”
He takes a custom, individualized approach to plastic surgery, and gives intense focus to every procedure. Additional Information
During medical school, Dr. Plant wrote and published several journal articles, including a groundbreaking paper describing a one-stage technique for breast reconstruction after cancer, the first of its kind in Canada.
As a resident, Dr. Plant was widely known for having “great hands” and an obsessive attention to detail. He performed several research studies and won multiple recognition awards for excellence in resident research. He has been in independent practice since 2014 and in 2017 decided to focus entirely on aesthetic surgery in order to achieve the best possible results for his patients.
His research has been presented at multiple local and national conferences and has been published in both major plastic surgery and medical education journals. He has been recruited to speak both nationally and internationally about his techniques in aesthetic surgery.

Dr Plant is the best!
I couldn’t be more happier with the whole experience at Clinic 360 with Dr Plant and the whole team. It took me a long time to make the call to book the consultation as I was super apprehensive. My first consultation with Dr Plant put me at ease as it gave me the confidence that I had chosen the right surgeon for my breast lift. Dr Plant is easy going, caring and compassionate and is super passionate about cosmetic surgery. On the day of my surgery the whole team were welcoming and attentive. Dr Plant is a perfectionist with his work and his suturing is super tidy. I had my surgery on a Monday afternoon and by Thursday I was feeling almost 100% back to normal. Bonnie was so kind and caring at my post op appt. Very little soreness or bruising. I really feel I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience or outcome. I am super happy! I wouldn’t consider going to any other cosmetic surgeon as Dr Plant is the best!

It’s been 9.5 weeks since I had a Breast Lift, BBL and Lipo360 at Clinic 360 with Dr. Plant.
My experience from my virtual consultation all the way through to my follow-up appointments has been incredible. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Plant himself and the staff at Clinic 360, they all were a pleasure
to deal with and made my entire experience seamless. Dr. Plant made me feel so comfortable from the first moment I met him. He listened closely to what I was looking for and was honest in what he could and could not do which earned him a lot of respect in my eyes. He sets very realistic expectations.
Speaking about my results, I am so ecstatic at the great work completed by Dr. Plant and the surgical team. I wanted to wait to post a review as I wanted to see some of my results.
I would say the first two weeks were the toughest due to bruising and swelling. After that you start to notice changes almost every day. The key to this type of surgery is patience and letting your body heal on its own time. I followed the after care instructions to the tee and I feel that played a big part in getting the results I did.
I’m not even at the 3 month mark yet but my measurements are the same as what they would be if I were 10 pounds lighter. I’ve noticed you may not lose weight but your measurements will definitely show a different story.
If you are considering any type of cosmetic surgery I would highly recommend Dr. Plant and the team at Clinic 360, they do not disappoint.
Dr. Plant is absolutely the best around
If you are considering Explant surgery, Dr. Plant is absolutely the best around. I am 5 weeks out from Explant and Lipo 360 surgery with Dr. Plant and the results have exceeded my expectations. I was booked with a different surgeon initially, but he was extremely dismissive of my reasons for wanting to Explant, which seems to be very common. I started looking online for other surgeons and came across Dr. Plant. I loved that he talked about Explant surgery on his website (most plastic surgery websites around here don’t even mention it) and the different methods and reasoning. I booked a consult with him and as soon as I started talking with him I felt heard and understood. He worked out a plan to rupture my implants 6 weeks ahead of my surgery to access if I needed a lift. (He was honest and thorough and felt I wouldn’t and he was right!) During the surgery he safely removed all of my capsules, which was something that was very important to me. My incisions are minimal and healing amazing, and the Lipo 360 looks so great already, even despite the usual swelling that still will go down as I continue to heal. His staff are all friendly and knowledgeable and get back to you quickly if you have any questions or concerns. Dr. Plant himself is awesome to deal with! He’s not only super up to date with techniques and protocols, but he has his own educated reasons for doing things, which I really appreciated because it shows his passion for what he does. I am so glad I chose him as my surgeon and especially wanted to share this for anyone considering explant, because I know how daunting the search can be!

Dr Mathew Plant is by far one of the most professional, knowledgeable and skilled doctors I have ever met. From the very first zoom consultation to my surgery date right through to my post op examinations. I have never had such a reliable and comfortable process from start to finish. I have had other surgeries in Canada and abroad. But none of them compare…. This experience was a 10 out of 10!!!
Dr Plants assistant Daniella was very accommodating to me and prompt with responding to any of my concerns weather through emails or phone calls. His nurses are so caring and comforting, And the administration team is great as well.
I have referred so many of my friends to see Dr plant. An amazing experience not to mention my astonishing results!! My tummy is so flat I honestly did not expect such an amazing result I definitely got even more than I anticipated.
