Dr. Maria Chuquer is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada with Anesthesiology as her primary specialty. She also has advanced certifications in Aesthetics Medicine and is the Medical Director at Xthetics Face & Body Sculpt. Dr. Chuquer provides a variety of non-surgical cosmetic treatments for face, hair and body. Her goal is to empower individuals to understand that at whatever age, they deserve to be the best version of themselves and feel more alive, youthful, and beautiful.
About Dr. Maria Chuquer
Dr. Chuquer received her medical degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul before completing a residency in anesthesiology and a general anesthesia fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at the University of Toronto. She has also obtained certification in aesthetic medicine, aesthetic dermatology, and weight reduction therapies in addition to completing hands-on training in advanced dermal fillers, biostimulators, and neuromodulators.
The main objective of Dr. Chuquer’s cosmetic treatments is to make her patients feel as good as they look by educating them and ensuring their safety. She uses evidence-based medicine along with the latest cutting-edge tools, materials, and the art of aesthetics to offer naturally beautiful and nuanced results. Dr. Chuquer is committed to identifying the finest, tailored solutions for each of her patients’ goals and problems. She establishes a strong base in meeting patients’ needs in order to further assist them in comprehending the methodology of each service available and deliver desired outcomes that inspire genuine confidence.

I’ve been doing a PRP treatment for hair growth with Dr Chuquer and I’m impressed with the results. Just with the first application (that I was so scared about and surprisily not painful at all) I noticed so many baby hair coming out. Excited to my next appointment and more fantasstic results. Also, I’ve done botulinic injections to prevent wrinkles and lip filling – cannot say how small things can make a huge difference on our confidence and self-esteem. I’ve never felt so pretty in my life! I highly recommend this place! 🙂

Amazing clinic where they take an individualized approach to treatment (something I have struggled to find in Calgary). I had Maria tweak some of my old fillers that were a few years old, and am very happy with the results. Her and Celina were both very honest and provided recommendations for best treatments – which is something I always appreciate in an injector. Will definitely be back!

Couldn’t be happier! This was an absolutely amazing experience! The RN went above and beyond to squeeze me & get me approved in less than 24 hours. She was so welcoming & kind. Upon arrival, both Doctor Maria & Celina were extremely helpful & professional but giving a friendly vibe. The place was extremely beautiful & clean, they worked together to make me as comfortable as possible & explain their movements & treatments as they worked!
