Dr. Boyd is a sensational who, in addition to her residency training in plastic surgery, has earned three specialist fellowships in cosmetic breast surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, and microsurgery. Dr. Boyd has also authored numerous publications and received funding from several educational and clinical research grants, and was instrumental in organizing Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Day in Ottawa.

Great doctor and human being
I am so thankful for Dr. Boyd, she is a great doctor and human being, she makes you feel completely and utterly at ease, not to mention how sweet and caring she is. I would never hesitate to recommend her and will definitely consider her for any additional surgery I might consider.
Magical
Dr. Boyd is magical. She performed my reconstruction and did an incredible job. They look very natural and have no odd “skin folds”.
She was kind, gentle, and very understanding. She explained the whole process in detail, helped me keep my sense of humor, and was supportive. She has great ideas on what needs improvements and is a perfectionist. She runs late often but it’s because she truly cares for her patients and spends time with them.
Could not be happier
I could not be happier with the decision of using Ottawa Plastic Surgery and Dr. Boyd for my augmentation. From the initial consultation, Dr. Kirsty Boyd took a lot of time to explain everything to me and weigh out options, with all the possibilities and explain the pros and possible cons moving forward. There was no pressure, just information and kind guidance of what she would recommend based on her experience and expertise.
I loved the 3-D, 360-degree imaging that is done to show you what the end result(s) will look like. I was warmly welcomed every time I had to visit the office and Vanessa and the team took care of all the correspondence and needed paperwork and payments.
The staff at OPS are all so wonderful! I felt so valued as a client/patient from day 1. I have to also commend the staff at the Almonte General Hospital, who were amazing from triage/check-in to post-op. What a great experience all around. Dr. Boyd and her team that day were incredible, doing an amazing job to reduce the amount of recovery I would need, with small 3cm incisions and wonderful pain management.
My recovery was next to nothing, and SO MUCH BETTER than I could have ever imagined (or been told about by others). I was up and moving within hours and functioning within 3 days, without issue. I stayed on top of the prescribed medication and it was exactly what I needed to get through the recovery period of about 5 days. I took it easy from there and resumed normal activity within 1-2 weeks, and exercise and sports within 4-5 weeks.
And…The Results Are: FANTASTIC!!! Exactly what I wanted, pictured, and expected. I feel so confident again and love getting my pre-baby body back! I can only HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are considering something similar.

Outstanding
Dr.Boyd is outstanding on all fronts. Not only does she have a stellar medical training background, but Dr.Boyd is also attentive and a genuinely nice person. She addressed all my questions and concerns at my first consultation for a breast lift after having two kids and having nursed for a long time. The surgery was on time and everything went perfectly. Dr. Boyd’s staff is amazing as well, anytime I had any questions, they were promptly addressed. I get everyone has their own takes on after baby bodies, but for me, this was the best decision.
