Dr. Havelock is a distinguished physician with dual certifications in Obstetrics and Gynecology from both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His primary focus lies in the realm of in vitro fertilization (IVF), where he has demonstrated exceptional expertise and commitment to advancing reproductive medicine.
Currently, Dr. Havelock holds the position of Chair for the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Special Interest Group at the Canadian Fertility Andrology Society (CFAS). Within the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UBC, he serves as a staff Gynecologist and holds the role of a clinical lecturer, contributing to the education and training of aspiring medical professionals.
Dr. Havelock’s dedication to education is further evident in his role as the Director of the Fellowship Training program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI). Appointed to this position on May 1st, 2012, he oversees the GREI Sub-Specialty Residency Program, demonstrating a career-long commitment to promoting physician professionalism and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care. The program, spanning two years in duration, is a testament to Dr. Havelock’s ongoing efforts to shape the future of reproductive medicine through education and mentorship.
