Dr. Jennica Platt

Dr. Jennica Platt is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Toronto and Brampton, Ontario. Her practice focuses on reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery, upper extremity surgery, skin cancer, and skin surgery. As one of the few female surgeons in the region, Dr. Platt is committed to achieving natural results that enable her patients to look energized, fresh, and healthy.
About Dr. Jennica Platt
Dr. Platt studied medicine at the University of Ottawa. During this time, she received the gold medal for her first-year medical class and served as student council president in her final year. After completing her residency training in plastic surgery at the University of Toronto, Dr. Platt expanded her education. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and is now a recognized expert in the study of clinical outcomes and patterns of care in plastic surgery. Dr. Platt also finished a fellowship in hand, wrist, and peripheral nerve surgery at Western University’s Hand and Upper Limb Centre. She has a particular interest in the surgical correction of changes that arise during pregnancy, after childbirth, and after significant weight loss.
Dr. Platt makes it her top priority to ensure patient satisfaction through precise surgical technique and excellent communication, as well as to make the patient experience as comfortable as possible. She has been described as a considerate, patient, and knowledgeable surgeon. Dr. Platt encourages patients to express their questions and concerns during each appointment so that she can work with you to incorporate your goals and set realistic expectations.
