Dr. Jeffrey C. Dawes is a board-certified plastic and dermatologic surgeon with fellowship training in Calgary, Alberta. About Dr. Jeffrey C. Dawes
Prior to opening his practice in 2010, Dr. Dawes completed 17 years of post-secondary education. He attended the University of Calgary, where he earned two undergraduate degrees (B.Sc., B.Comm.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Dr. Dawes went on to complete his medical education at the same institution, where he was also recognized as the medical school’s valedictorian. He later completed a five-year, intensive surgical training at the highly competitive University of Calgary’s program in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Dawes successfully went on to pass his Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada exam and undertook an additional year of postgraduate training in the coveted Mohs micrographic (skin cancer) surgery fellowship – an accredited training program by the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACM).
Bachelor of Science – University of Calgary Dr. Dawes’ extensive surgical training has given him expertise in a variety of fields, including aesthetic surgery, major facial trauma, hand injuries, breast reconstruction, and microsurgery. He is also one of only two plastic surgeons in Canada who has undergone Mohs surgery training. At his practice, Dr. Dawes and his highly knowledgeable medical team aim to guide patients on which surgical or non-surgical options would best help them achieve their aesthetic goals and realistic expectations. Patients will be provided with education and information needed to make an informed decision while feeling at ease at every turn.

My experience with Dr Dawes and his team was more then I could have ever imagined. The reception staff was so pleasant and helpful, taking my MANY phone calls and fitting me in to try on implants multiple times.
Nurse Elaine and Nurse Erina were extremely knowledgeable and super helpful through the whole process. Their patience and guidance lead me in the direction of choosing the perfect implants that fit me BEAUTIFULLY!!
Surgery day, My nurse Elisha was such a sweetheart. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She even rubbed my arm to comfort me while I was falling sleep. Such a small gesture goes a long way. Especially when you’re feeling anxious.
I wish I could remember my recovery nurses name, she was also very lovely.
The next day I received a call both Dr Dawes office and the surgical suite just to follow up and see if I had any questions or concerns.
At my two week post operative appointment I was given a beautiful gift to help me with my healing process and some extra goodies.

Wonderful experience
I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Dawes’ office. I went in for the first time to receive laser hair removal and my nurse Ashley did an incredible job. She explained the procedure thoroughly and was happy to answer any of my questions. She made me feel comfortable and made the experience delightful. The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend their services. Thank you to everyone on the team!
Exceptional
After having scheduled a few consultations with different doctors for my breast augmentation, I knew that Dr. Dawes clinic was the one. From receiving knowledgeable feedback over the phone regarding the questions I had even before booking my consultation, to the exceptional consult with Dr. Dawes. He was very concise on what types of procedures could be performed and what the individual outcomes would be. He chose the best procedure according to my body type, measurements and of course my vision. Erina helped me choose the best size for “gummy bear” implants that were not overwhelming for my body size but still provided me the drastic change I was looking for. Not to mention the beautifully designed, clean and well organized clinic. The procedure itself could not have been executed any better and also with no complications. The team made me very comfortable with this being my first surgery. I am currently 2 weeks post-op, loving the results so far and can’t wait to see the final results over the next 6 months. I have never been more confident in my body, all thanks to Dr. Dawes and his team!
