About Dr. Ian Sunderland
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Sunderland achieved the highest distinction in Human Biology during his undergraduate education at the University of Toronto. He graduated with his medical degree at the top of his class at Washington University in St. Louis. Following this, he pursued a prestigious residency in plastic surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, a renowned training program.
Dr. Sunderland further honed his skills with a one-year fellowship in reconstructive and aesthetic craniomaxillofacial surgery at Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto. Dr. Sunderland is a skilled expert in both reconstructive and aesthetic facial plastic surgery, with a broad range of expertise in these areas. In addition to his specialized focus on facial procedures, Dr. Sunderland is equally dedicated to providing exceptional care in general reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery.
