About Mommy Makeover

A mommy makeover is a customized combination of procedures and/or treatments, designed to help restore and improve a mother’s pre-baby body after changes brought on by pregnancy, childbirth, and/or breastfeeding. Mommy makeovers can include cosmetic plastic surgery, non-surgical treatments, or a combination of both. A mommy makeover includes all the chosen procedures in just one surgery, so the patient only has to go under general anesthesia once and only has to endure one single recovery.

If you are resting and limiting movement, you should be able to manage your pain quite well, as moving around may put pressure on your incisions causing increased pain.

You can expect to be given pain medication and experience swelling and bruising for a few weeks. You may need to sleep on your back or in a reclined position for the first few weeks of recovery.
