“It is a real honour and privilege to be a Plastic Surgeon working here in beautiful Vancouver, BC. I love what I do because of the meticulous, highly technical and aesthetic nature of the specialty.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree with Honours, I was accepted to the University of British Columbia, one of the top Plastic and Reconstructive training program in the country. As a clinician investigator, I completed an additional Master’s degree in wound healing and stem cell research with research and clinical experiences at UBC, John’s Hopkins and Harvard University. At the end of my training, I received the Dr. Garth Warnock award and was recognized as the most well-rounded senior surgical resident physician.
From my perspective, every patient is unique, and we are here to formulate a specialized plan for each and every one of you. I look forward to listening to your goals and celebrating beautiful results together.”
Dr. Forbes is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, with a subspeciality training in Plastic Surgery. She is also an active member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons and Canadian Medical Association and a member of the Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

I had my full Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck in May 2022 with muscle repair and lipo, I am very happy with the results. Dr. Forbes is very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. She explained the procedure, pro and cons in detail, she made me comfortable throughout the process.
