Dr. C. Bakala, a renowned specialist in head & neck reconstructive surgeries, facial cosmetic surgery, and laser skin care, is dedicated to serving the Okanagan with his exceptional expertise. After completing his training, Dr. Bakala returned to his hometown of Kelowna, BC in 1996, where he established his practice with a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional services to the people of the Okanagan. About Dr. Cameron Bakala
Dr. Bakala’s journey began with his M.D training at the University of British Columbia in 1988, followed by a residency program in otolaryngology at the same institution, which he successfully completed in 1995. To further hone his craft, he embarked on a facial plastics surgery fellowship program at the University of Toronto, achieving his certification in 1996. As a recognized expert, he holds a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and takes on roles as a member and Western Canada Director of the esteemed Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
In addition to being board certified in otolaryngology in both Canada and the USA, Dr. Bakala proudly holds certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His exceptional contributions to the field were acknowledged with the prestigious W.S. Goodman Award from the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 1996. Beyond his practice, Dr. Bakala remains actively engaged with the medical community, generously sharing his knowledge and experience as a clinical instructor for the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the University of British Columbia.

I am extremely pleased with his work.
I had a mountain biking accident back in 2017. I finally got around to getting my rhino and septoplasty done by Dr. Bakala. This might be all the extra oxygen talking, but I am extremely pleased with his work. Thank you very much! Everyone in your office has been fantastic as well.

Dr. Bakala was an utter professional throughout my entire process of receiving a rhinoplasty. Furthermore, his nursing staff made me feel comfortable and safe as I was going under anesthesia and into the procedure. The results were also incredible – even though it is one day after cast off, my current nose looks identical to the mock up he had projected. I recommend him and his team without equivocation if you are searching for a surgeon. He helped me to change one of my biggest insecurities!

Went to Dr. Bakala for a rhinoplasty and I am SO happy! I was a little sad to see other reviews on here that were negative about Dr. Bakala because in my experience he was absolutely amazing!
