Dr. Brian D. Peterson is a dual-board certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Kelowna's Okanagan Health Surgical Centre – a highly advanced surgical facility in the picturesque Okanagan Valley designed to meet a wide array of cosmetic and reconstructive needs. About Dr. Brian D. Peterson
Dr. Peterson graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Medicine (with distinction) in 1984. Prior to completing his plastic surgery residency training at the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Peterson underwent a rotating internship at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster to complete his basic training. After passing his specialty exams with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, he pursued additional advanced fellowship training in the United States with a focus on aesthetic cosmetic surgery. Dr. Peterson then established his specialty practice in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive surgery in Kelowna, where he now performs around 500 cosmetic surgical procedures per year.
The Okanagan Health Centre was established by Dr. Peterson to provide an environment of excellence dedicated to cosmetic surgery. The facility is cutting-edge and fully accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Dr. Peterson and his team believe that it is critical to provide patients with all the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health and appearance.
