
Dr. Amanda J. Fortin
MD, FRCSC – Sudbury, ON
In 2011 Dr. Amanda Fortin returned to Northern Ontario to open her practice in Sudbury. While she has roots in Northern Ontario she has done extensive training across Canada and abroad. Her training in medical school was in Calgary Alberta, she became certified in Plastic Surgery at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg and then went on to do specialty training in Texas and in Melbourne Australia.
About Dr. Amanda J. Fortin
Dr. Fortin began her career as a surgeon and instructor of plastic surgery trainees at the University of Western Ontario in 2007 in London Ontario but decided to return to her roots in the north when she began her family. She has worked out of Health Sciences North since moving to Sudbury. In 2018 her main practice location has moved to 1493 Paris St. This is an easily accessible location for both consultation and an approved surgical center.
