Dr. Lee, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, performs breast reconstruction surgery with the SMH/JPOCSC Breast Reconstruction Program — one of the largest breast centres in Western Canada. Dr. Lee also has a busy cosmetic surgery practice performing breast enhancement, facial rejuvenation, tummy tucks, and body contouring surgery at various private clinics, including Valley Surgical Centre.
About Dr. Adrian Lee
Since establishing his cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery practice in the Lower Mainland, Dr. Adrian Lee, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, has served as part of the medical staff at Surrey Memorial, Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgical Centre, Royal Columbian, Eagle Ridge, and Peace Arch Hospitals. He is a clinical instructor with the Department of Plastic Surgery at UBC and is the Head of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgical Centre (JPOCSC).
As an undergraduate at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Lee was torn between a career in architecture and one in medicine. Architecture appealed to his creativity and love of design, medicine to his passion for biology and desire to help and heal. With plastic surgery, Dr. Lee found the perfect outlet for both his passions.
After his undergraduate studies at UBC, he went on to receive his Medical Degree from the UBC School of Medicine, where he graduated in 1995. Moving to Ontario, Dr. Lee completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario and obtained extensive training in hand surgery with the nationally renowned Hand and Upper Limb Centre (HULC).
Dr. Lee returned to Vancouver to complete a combined fellowship in breast and cosmetic surgery. There he expanded his expertise at the UBC Breast Reconstruction Program, working with Dr. Peter Lennox and the late Dr. Patricia Clugston. Married with three growing daughters, Dr. Lee and his family are avid downhill and cross country skiers and he is a passionate cyclist and triathlete during the non-winter months.

Additional Information
Dr. Lee is a member of Health for Humanity and has been fortunate to be a part of the surgical team to Guatemala since 2009. In Guatemala, he donates his time performing plastic and reconstructive surgeries such as cleft lip and palate repairs, congenital hand deformity reconstruction, and burn reconstructive surgery. He is looking forward to participating in many more volunteer missions in the future.

I would strongly recommend Dr. Lee
I had breast augmentation 4 months ago with Dr. Lee. He was excellent and I am extremely satisfied with the results. He was very realistic and was able to give me the best results for what he had to work with. The recovery was good (I am 45 years old with three kids). I took 2 weeks off work but I’d say it was a good 4 weeks before I was able to do most things. Sleeping was tough because you can’t sleep on your side or stomach. I would strongly recommend Dr. Lee, he is very good at what he does and is very easy to talk to.

I am a mother of three. With my first one, I still managed to do some exercise to get back to like my body again. For my second I had twins. I am not a big woman and I carried them to full term . They were about seven pounds each. After I had them, my body was completely destroyed and I was not happy with the way it looked. My tummy sagged so badly and also my breasts were terrible. I couldn’t wear some clothes that I used to wear or wanted to wear. I was very depressed.
I was doing research about tummy tuck and breast augmentation for a few years to find a surgeon that I feel I could trust but I couldn’t make any decisions for all those years. By chance I came across Dr. Lee. I don’t know why but somehow I felt trust that he could help to fix my body to make me happy again.
After I got my surgery done, everything went well like it was planned and I was very pleased with everything. But a week later after I got home, I felt fine. I thought I could do more things that I needed to do. I didn’t lay down enough, did too much cooking and other activities. I was walking my kids up and down a steep hill to school. I did way too many activities, and I caused myself to have hematoma. I was very scared. I contacted Dr. Lee about it. He responded very quickly and helped to remove the hematoma for me. I am very thankful for that.
After all, it was one the best decisions that I have ever made in my life. Dr. Lee is very nice, kind and knowledgeable.
I am now just the happy person that I always wanted to be. Now I can look at the mirror and have a big smile on my face with my beautiful tummy and the breasts that look so natural that I always wanted.

My surgery went so well and fast recovery. I had liposuction flank , love handle and back with extended tummy tuck . Recovery very fast and easy than C section. I had two tube drains and it been removed by Dr. Lee 5 days after surgery. The drains doesn’t bother me like I thought and I’m not even can feel it or any pain when Dr. Lee removed them . Dr Lee made my scar very thin , low and nicely . He did it even lower than my C section scar and the C sections scar was been removed with my excess skin . My new scar he did very low and invisible when I wearing bikini. So much appreciated as I have no experience about these so blessed that I choose Dr Lee , he is an expert!!!
I also notice and love the way Dr Lee created my new belly button and the navel , very natural . I don’t like sometime surgeon make the belly button for tummy tuck patients look perfectly round circle but when I see the photo I can tell right away this belly button is cosmetic . My belly button was created and stitched naturally, I love her so much! Thank you so much Dr. Lee .
