Dr. Thomas Nakatsui is a distinguished dermatologist and the medical director of the Nakatsui DermaSurgery Centre, a certified non-hospital surgical facility in Edmonton. He has achieved a Fellowship in Dermatology in Canada, showcasing his advanced expertise in the field. Additionally, Dr. Nakatsui is board-certified in the United States, further evidencing his comprehensive qualifications and dedication to dermatology.
Dr. Thomas Nakatsui is a highly skilled dermatologist with extensive expertise in all fields, including laser surgery, fillers, Botox, and hair transplantation. His medical education and residency in Dermatology were completed at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, a foundation that was further enriched by additional training at several world-renowned Centers of Excellence.
These included Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, the Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr. Nakatsui was also personally trained by Dr. Groot in using lasers, Botox, fillers, and other dermatological treatments since July 2000.
His excellence in the field is further highlighted by his acceptance into the prestigious Alpha-Omega-Alpha Honor Medical Society and receipt of the Board of Governors’ Prize in Medicine for being first in his medical class, alongside numerous awards and scholarships.

As the medical director of our skin care centre, he leads and actively participates in patient care, especially when on call at major hospitals such as the University of Alberta Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Hospital, among others.
