About Dr. Ritchie A.L. Younger
Dr. Younger is renowned in his field for his excellence in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as his high ethical standards. He has achieved several feats, including the development of several surgical proprietary techniques. Dr. Younger started his training in medicine at the University of Alberta Medical School, where he graduated first in his class. After that, he finished an internship at Calgary’s Holy Cross Hospital and general surgical training in Edmonton. Dr. Younger then completed his residency in head and neck surgery at UBC, his training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Switzerland, and his facial cosmetic surgery residency as a clinical teacher at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Young currently manages his practice, the Younger Facial Surgery Centre, in Vancouver. He works closely with his patients to comprehend their needs and goals so that he may advise them accordingly. He takes pride in open, truthful communication with his patients, and ensures that all patients make educated choices about their needs by establishing realistic expectations. Dr. Younger sees patients from northern British Columbia, various Canadian provinces, and to some extent from abroad. Exceeded My Expectations! Highly Recommend Dr. Ritchie
From the initial consultation to post-op results, I have had the best possible experience with Dr. Younger and his team. Not only is my nose far better than I had expected (even better than the digital imaging photo from the consultation, which I was already thrilled with!), he really puts you at ease, listens to what you want, and the clinic staff were all wonderful. The recovery process has also been a piece of cake. I can not recommend or thank him enough 🙂
Grateful and thankful
I had my surgery with Dr. Younger in Jan 2021. I had serious breathing problems prior to it due to a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates. It really affected by quality of life for at least five years prior. I would get tired easily and not want to go out to social events. The surgery went very well and my recovery is going well now also. I had very little pain post-op and my breathing is already leaps and bounds better than before the surgery. Asides from the breathing problems before, I had inflammation and throbbing around the sides of my nose prior to the surgery and that was completely gone the day after the operation. I am so grateful and thankful for this surgeon and looking forward to my new life with oxygen.

I went to Dr. Younger to fix my breathing and reshape my nose. I can honestly say that this was the best experience I could have had for my first surgery. He is very personable and kind and is always willing to answer any of your questions. His staff are also very lovely. I would highly recommend him as a both surgical and non-surgical treatments!
