Dr. Anthony Papp is an internationally recognized plastic surgeon, leading physician, and burn and wound healing expert. He completed his medical training in Finland, specializing in general and plastic surgery. With a distinguished career, he served as the Head of Plastic Surgery and oversaw the national burn center at Kuopio University Hospital before relocating to Vancouver in 2007. His expertise encompasses injectables, breast surgery, body contouring, tummy tucks, eyelid surgery, liposuctions, scar revisions, and burn & wound care.

Dr. Anthony Papp’s impressive academic background includes 50 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, 90 conference presentations, and 22 book chapters in medical textbooks. His contributions to the field of plastic surgery have garnered international recognition, earning him prestigious accolades such as the “Leading Physician of the World” and “Top Plastic Surgeon in British Columbia,” bestowed by the International Association of Plastic Surgeons in 2015. Currently serving at Vancouver General Hospital, Dr. Papp holds the esteemed position of Medical Director for the BC Professional Firefighters’ Burn Unit and leads the Provincial Burn Program.
As a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of British Columbia, he actively engages in teaching, research, and clinical patient care. Dr. Papp’s dedication extends beyond his own institution, as he also takes on the role of visiting professor at various esteemed institutions, including Winnipeg and Kuwait City, where he shares his expertise and fosters professional growth.
