Dr. Helene Retrouvey is a board-certified plastic surgeon. She is an academic Plastic Surgeon at St. Joseph’s Healthcare and is an Assistant Professor at McMaster University.
Dr. Retrouvey completed her medical degree at McGill University Medical School and underwent residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto. In addition, Dr. Retrouvey earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Epidemiology, with her thesis centered on enhancing access to breast reconstruction for women facing breast cancer. She then completed a fellowship at the University of Colorado.
