What the Procedure Does
Laser skin resurfacing is a non-surgical treatment that uses laser light to target and heat up the skins superficial and/or outer, lower layers. As the epidermis is removed using concentrated, precise pulsating light beams, the damaged and unwanted skin is removed, and the skin is triggered to regenerate. Due to the action of the dermis/ underlying skin being heated, the skins collagen fiber production is stimulated. When the treated area has fully healed, the new skin that forms is smoother and firmer.

About Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing is a cutting-edge treatment that is used to treat a variety of facial conditions or irregularities. This can include discoloration, fine lines, deep wrinkles, acne scarring, and broken blood vessels. This modality employs laser light to precisely and effectively remove damaged skin layers that form on top of healthier skin layers lying below.  By removing dead cells, the skin rejuvenates itself by replacing the damaged cells with younger, fresher ones, resulting in a more resilient, vibrant complexion.
