Sean C. Smith, BSc, MD, FRCSC, is a board certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in surgical and non-surgical care of the face, breast and body. Dr. Smith is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario for independent practice in Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Smith has extensive training in non-surgical procedures and is committed to professional development. He takes a four-step approach to providing exceptional care for his patients, which includes listening, examination, procedure, and post-surgical care. His practice also includes skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, craniofacial trauma surgery, reconstructive surgery, and minor burn care.
Dr. Smith is committed to professional development and lifelong learning and is accredited through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s Maintenance of Certification Program. He has also had extensive training in non-surgical procedures of the face and body including neuromodulators such as BOTOX® and Dysport®, injectable fillers such as JUVÉDERM® and Restylane®, Sculptra® Aesthetic, BELKYRA™ and fat grafting.

Additional Information
Dr. Smith enjoys a variety of outdoor sports such as alpine ski racing, rock climbing, white water kayaking, mountain and road biking, water skiing and golf. He is a CSCF Level II Ski Coach and CSIA Level II Ski Instructor. Above all, Dr. Smith is a proud father and husband. He lives with his wife and two sons in Ottawa’s west end.

Couldn't have done a better job
Dr. Smith was my surgeon for a procedure this January and he couldn’t have done a better job – no scar to speak of. I saw sports physician a few weeks after my surgery for a lingering issue and they literally asked me where my scar was…he did that good of a job. Not only will Dr. Smith answer your questions, be available for follow-ups, and on time for his appointments, he knows what he is doing and the results speak for themselves!
