Shannon has been a Registered Nurse since 1998 and a Nurse Practitioner since 2005. In 2020, she completed a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and now integrates psychotherapy into her work. Drawing on both her professional training and her own life experiences of joy and hardship, Shannon brings deep compassion, empathy, and a genuine ability to see the good in people. She is looking forward to her new practice at Ohana Health and Wellness Centre, where she combines primary care elements and mental wellness in an inclusive, holistic way. Shannon is also excited to now have an Emsella chair. This is a non-invasive treatment that helps people of all genders strengthen their pelvic floor to improve incontinence and sexual function. During treatments, Shannon creates a supportive space where clients can explore mindfulness, discuss sexual health openly, or simply take a quiet moment of rest—making each session a holistic experience for both body and mind.
