Dr. Michael Brandt

Dr. Michael Brandt is one of a very small number of surgeons in the world who is double board-certified in both Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Head & Neck Surgery - a distinction that reflects both the depth and the precision of his training. Born in South Africa and raised in Toronto, he completed medical school, residency, and a Master's degree at Western University, where his graduate thesis focused on the evaluation of surgical scars. He was then selected for the highly competitive Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan, one of the most respected programs in North America. Dr. Brandt holds certifications from both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Over 15 years of surgical practice, he has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed academic publications, sits on several national and international specialty committees, and lectures widely across Canada and around the world. He is also an international trainer for the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, with a particular reputation for his expertise in facelift and neck lift surgery, non-surgical rhinoplasty, and modern hair restoration - including robotic transplantation with the ARTAS system.
