Dr. Michal Brichacek is a double-board certified plastic surgeon practicing in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He specializes in general, craniofacial, and aesthetic facial surgery. Dr. Brichacek is certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received the highest possible score (99th percentile) on the written examination for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
About Dr. Michal Brichacek
Dr. Brichacek has extensive training and advanced surgical experience in aesthetic and reconstructive facial surgery procedures. He completed plastic and reconstructive surgery training from the University of Manitoba and pursued his fellowship at the prestigious University of Toronto’s Craniofacial and Aesthetic Facial Surgery program. Prior to his training, he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with honours and was an NCAA athlete and captain of the fencing team.
Dr. Brichacek then earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario. During this time, he was involved in innovative research on facial paralysis at The John Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Brichacek remains actively involved in the field of plastic surgery as a researcher and peer reviewer for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and the journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Brichacek is widely published, and his peer-reviewed research has appeared in numerous respected journals as well as been presented at major conferences. Furthermore, Dr. Brichacek is the current vice-chair of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons’ Young Plastic Surgeons Committee.

Great clinic
I went in with the expectation of needing a minor surgery BUT still a surgery and Dr. Michal Brichacek came in and made me feel instantly comfortable and protected as he explained in great detail but easy to understand terms as to why I SHOULDN’T get the procedure done and I wasn’t a good candidate for the outcome I envisioned. That is integrity and all the proof I need to suggest this is a Great clinic to consider for your needs.
Amazing Experience
I had an amazing experience at the First Glance Aesthetic Clinic and Surgery Center. Dr. Birchacek is one of the talented plastic/cosmetic surgeons we have in the city. I find him very calm and collective and explained everything in detail. He is very knowledgeable, attentive, and even go extra mile to get the outcome that is suitable for my facial feature. I’m writing is review after 6 months post surgery. Very happy with the procedure and pre/post care provided to me. Friendly staff, effective service, beautiful results, would definitely see him again.
