Dr. Maryam Zamani

Dr. Maryam Saheb-Al Zamani, also known to her patients as Dr. Zamani or affectionately as Dr. Z, is a fellowship-trained aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon. She has an aesthetic-focused practice at the prestige ICLS Plastic Surgery in Oakville, Ontario, and performs a wide range of procedures such as breast surgery, body contouring, rhinoplasty, and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Zamani, along with her colleague and partner Dr. Khanna, provides a uniquely female perspective and approach to her patients.
About Dr. Maryam Zamani
Dr. Zamani’s extensive training in Canada and the United States has accelerated her professional growth. She has brought the most recent surgical and non-surgical options to ICLS Plastic Surgery for her patient’s benefit. Dr. Zamani began her education with an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. She continued to Washington University School of Medicine’s program, where she eventually earned both a medical degree and a master’s in plastic surgery research. Dr. Zamani returned to Toronto to further her plastic and reconstructive surgery training. She received additional specialized training focused on cosmetic breast surgery, facial rejuvenation, and aesthetic plastic surgery from distinguished surgeons as an American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)-endorsed fellow.
Dr. Zamani is dedicated to delivering advanced, effective, and safe care to all her patients. She understands each patient has different concerns, needs, and life circumstances. She utilizes multiple treatment options, surgical and non-surgical, to offer bespoke solutions that match each patient’s goals. Dr. Zamani aims for each of her patients to address their concerns in order to let their inner beauty shine and to create harmony between how they perceive themselves and how the rest of the world perceives them. As a female surgeon, Dr. Zamani uses her unique position in the field of plastic surgery to provide an authentic understanding of the female body and how it evolves over time. She works independently and collaboratively to develop combined expertise on a customized solution for each patient, resulting in a superior experience before, during, and after surgery.

Dr. Zamani is one half of the Sisterhood of the Scalpel, a YouTube talk show she co-hosts with ICLS Director of Plastic Surgery and fellow surgeon, Dr. Julia Khanna. She is passionate about all aspects of aesthetic plastic surgery and serves on the editorial boards of leading aesthetic journals including The Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and The Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum. Dr. Zamani has published numerous journal articles and book chapters to share her knowledge with patients and aspiring surgeons.
