About Dr. David G. Williamson
Dr. David G. Williamson received his B.Sc. from the University of New Brunswick in 1989, followed in 1994 by his Doctor of Medicine from Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. Resident training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was at the University of British Columbia from 1994 – 1999. After successfully completing his specialty exams with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Williamson continued with additional advanced fellowship training at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in London, Ontario. Aesthetic cosmetic plastic surgery was a component of this advanced fellowship training. Dr. Williamson also did volunteer work for Plastic Surgery in Ethiopia
Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Williamson established practice in Kelowna, joining the medical community as a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Being a part of the medical staff at both the Kelowna General Hospital, as well as the Okanagan Plastic Surgery Centre, Dr. Williamson is able to include the full range of aesthetic cosmetic surgical procedures in his practice. Dr. Williamson welcomes consultations for a wide variety of cosmetic procedures. Consultations focus on the patients’ needs and expected outcomes with individualized plans made for each and every patient.

Thank you Dr Williamson
Dr. David Williamson performed a Breast reduction and lift on my- self this January. I suffer from severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and fibromyalgia at age 26, which causes me back and neck pain every day. It was effecting my quality of life quite significantly to the point I were I was struggling to Drive, going to school and affecting me at work, standing and cooking. Every night I would be in tears as the pain was so server.
I’m so thankful I was able to get in this year for surgery. Since having my Breast reduction and Lift. I feel so much better I was really emotional and happy, absolutely no pain whatsoever in my neck. Dr. David Williamson did did an amazing a job. I felt he understood my concerns and was very professional and his staff as well.
Since December 6, 2022/2023 I’m Post OP 7-weeks now. I’m healing nicely and everything looks aesthetically pleasing. I’m really happy above and beyond with the results. i feel I’m able to take charge of my life now, as I will be able to have a much better quality of life moving forward.

Dr Williamson goes above and beyond
I have had a few surgery’s performed by Dr. Williamson. My most recent was an Autologous Breast Reconstruction after a Mastectomy. The surgery was a success and I am finally feeling more like my old self. I had a lot of question’s along the way for Dr. Williamson and he had always gone above and beyond to answer them promptly and this helped so much to put my mind at ease and that meant a lot to me. Dr. Williamson is kind, patient, understanding and most of all a Wonderful Dr. The Surgical Center nurses and office staff have always been very professional & friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Over the moon with my new look
I am 65 years old. After years living with a partial mastectomy, I decided I wanted this fixed. Dr. David Williamson, did a reduction, on one side and a lift for both. I am now 3 weeks post opt, and my only regret I should have done this 10 years ago. I am over the moon with my new look. The process was uneventful, and I am incredibly happy with the results! Only advise, don’t put it off.
