Dr. Craig Crippen has worked extensively in both public and private medicine since 2003, is a fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery as well as a diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology. Dr. Crippen offers his education, experience, and expertise at DermMedica, Kelowna's premier laser and injectables clinic dedicated solely to cosmetic skin care treatments. Juvederm, Botox injectables, CoolSculpting, Laser hair removal, and many other medical treatments are all administered in DermMedica's relaxed setting by physicians and friendly, experienced staff.
About Dr. Craig Crippen
Dr. Crippen was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He has attended three Canadian universities and obtained four educational titles. He earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and then went on to complete his specialty training in Family Medicine at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Crippen believes that in order to be a competent physician, you must always be learning and expanding your knowledge. He has trained with physicians at the forefront of laser medicine and has made educational visits to medical laser clinics throughout North America and Europe.
Dr. Crippen continues to learn and strives to educate those who are interested in the services he offers. He is a national medical conference speaker, a medical student educator in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC, and holds active roles in his field, including chair of the College of Family Physicians of Canada’s Dermatology committee. Dr. Crippen and the supporting staff at DermMedica are known for producing quality results for the people of Kelowna and the BC Interior, and the clinic is renowned for their mature, service-oriented, and patient-friendly care.

Additional Information
Outside of work, Dr. Crippen participates in athletics and outdoor activities such as running and strength training, which come in handy when caring for two young and active children. Dr. Crippen is a musician who still finds time to pursue his passion despite his busy work schedule. He received conservatory training on the piano in his early years before shifting to trumpet in high school. Dr. Crippen has travelled from coast to coast with various classical and jazz ensembles since that time.
