Dr. Catherine Haywood is an internationally trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 20 years of experience. She is a renowned board-certified surgeon practicing in Toronto, and values approachability, consistent results, and respect for privacy. Dr. Haywood educates and provides excellent teaching to guide the patient through the experience to ensure they are well informed and knowledgeable.
About Dr. Catherine T. Haywood
Dr. Haywood is a graduate from the University of Victoria, she earned her medical degree at McGill University Medical School, and her Fellowship residency training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto. During her training she was noted for her teaching by the Toronto General Hospital and was awarded the Dr. A.W. Harrison Teaching Award by Sunnybrook Hospital. Dr. Haywood not only wants to be a great surgeon, but also a great patient advocate with an honest, informed, and practical approach to cosmetic surgery. She offers attention and care at every stage of the journey, from the initial consultation to the day of surgery to the last follow-up session.

Additional Information
Dr. Haywood is an active participant in ongoing medical education, as well as a number of research projects. Numerous honors have been bestowed upon her, including the Most Outstanding Teacher Award given by University of Toronto undergraduate students during her training year. As a Staff Surgeon at the William Osler Health Center, she currently oversees medical students and residents in addition to tutoring medical students at the University of Toronto.
